The wind almost blew flags out of the hole, setup some huge drives on the way home and some long approaches on the way out, but Brian Boynton managed the conditions, winning low gross as the only player on the night to break 40.
Boynton’s 3-over round of 39 also led to a 7.5-point victory in his individual match.
The net competition was won by Jack Mehrens with a 33. Tim Krum, Joe Mehrens, Brian Robbins and Kris Vauthier split the deuce pot on the night.
Mike Hart had a kick-in birdie on hole No. 13 to win the closest to the pin competition.
Carmel’s Sports Bar came up just short of the first half title, but find themselves in contention again in the second half. Carmel’s scored a league-high 25.5 points Tuesday to move into a tie at first place with 90.5 points.
Locker Room/Haufbrau shares the lead, while ACC Pro Shop climbed multiple spots up the leader board to move into third with 83.5 total points.
Thompson’s Bar sits in fourth with 83 points after a lackluster 15.5-point week. Cedar Park/Carmel’s round out the top five with 82.5.
